A Grand California Landmark Estate, Green Gables is renowned for its giant historic forests, thousands of twinkling lights, lush English Gardens, the chiffon-gathered Tented Pavilion, and best of all, total seclusion.
This historic estate hosts one wedding per day and typically books 15 months in advance with very limited availability prior to 15 months. We are currently accepting reservations through 2015.
Couples searching for an out-of-the-box venue that is completely private - and not just another golf course, winery, or hotel – find Green Gables very refreshing. We are open to outside vendors, caterers, and creative design ideas.
Recently, a total restoration and beautification of the historic Richland House (circa 1889) has created a graceful backdrop to the Landmark Garden setting.
The Richland House has fresh white interior and exterior paint. The luxurious Bridal Parlor can easily accommodate even the largest wedding party. The newly completed East Lawns for Ceremonies feature a fully-restored wooden garden gazebo set among turn-of-the-last-century forests and fountains. The addition of hundreds of newly planted trees and white rose arbors create an enhanced private English garden setting.
We have upgraded our Tented Pavilion to include a dreamy chiffon gathered liner that billows over 30-foot-tall peaks. Illuminated by ambient lighting, the Tented Pavilion includes custom carpeting to create a quiet, upscale dining ambience. A thermostatic heating system insures total comfort for all. The Tented Pavilion creates the ideal setting for an outdoor garden wedding with all weather and no worry.
Green Gables Wedding Estate is committed to caring for the environment by recycling as much as possible from your event, including recycling fresh flowers by taking them to the elderly. These are just a few ways Green Gables give back.
